My little angel has a sudden passion for wearing sunnies. Whenever she sees one, she would point at it and go 'aeh aeh'. And i think that means 'mummy, i want to put that sunnies on' or sth along that line..Here she is trying on her auntie's sunnies.

Does anyone remembers the Young Times section is Life&Times NST back in the early 90’s? I used to love that section a whole lot. And in that section, once or is it everyday that they will have a print of the cartoon by Kim Casali with that two cute characters with cute love notes. Kim started it when she wanted to send love notes to her hubby. Instead of the usual love letters etc, she started with those two cute cartoon characters. I just love each and every one of the it. I used to cut them out and paste it in my notebook/scrapbook. Yes, back in those days..i used to love to scribble down thoughts or every so often, my favourite song of the moment. Those were the days when we dont get to use the internet that we do now. Haha.. was that that long before?

Anyway, I found the website that have those 'love notes' and since I missed yesterday to have a special mention to my dear hubby..so this post is especially for him!

A new show in town..

Last Sunday night while putting my little tiny tot to sleep, Wegra texted me and mentioned to watch 8tv tonight at 10pm for a show done by one of our batch girl back in college. She mentioned that it is the girl’s own production. When I actually switch on the tube, the credits were rolling and there I saw her name being mentioned not once but a coupla times. She not only produced it but also actually wrote and conceptualized the whole show! Well, it should not come as a big surprise as this all rounder girl had shown many talents since college years. Oh and I also remember how she won the singing contest in the primary school if i am not mistaken. Yes, I still remember her in primary school too.

Ironically, that sunday evening after coming back from a fren's kid's 1st birthday party, on the way home i saw a huge billboard displaying a poster of the show. And i was wondering to myself, has it shown on tv? when is it airing? etc etc.. then when i got wegra's text msg and switched on the tube, i was thinking to myself..Eh, this is the show that i saw on the billboard tadi...

Anyway, I like the show. I must say it is a great achievement for a locally produced production. It is so different from any other local production. It reminds me a lot of Ally Mcbeal though of a different context. But at the same time, it clearly works on the concept of the new urban life of the kl-lites. And I love the casts. They are good, I must say. Can’t wait to see how the show develops. I am sure it will only get better.

Wids did a portfolio for her daughter. And i got excited wanting to do one for my angel too. Hehe..Tho most of the photos that i have of her right now are old collections. Baked.

Why is today so hot? To top it off, one of the two air-con that we have in the office is down. I feel like we are in the oven. I can feel the heat ( by the way, what is bahang in english yah??) :)

Plus..when you didnt get enough sleep and rest the day before, hayo..how to best describe the feeling? Hot, sleepy, tired..flustered..wahh.. i wish i can just leave and go back, switch on the air-con full blast and sleep! i can only wish only la right now..

We were in Genting for the weekend. It was Arina's first time! Anyway i had a brainstorming session and the family came along too. We had sunday free so we went up to the the themepark. As expected, Arina was only excited when she got to ride the car. And it wasnt even moving. Hehe. She slept quarter of the time there. I guess the most excited person was of coz Daddy-o..plus my 2 sisters whom went along on all the rides Daddy-o wanted to go on. It was funny to see when Daddy-o did the sky-venture thingy.

Came back 630ish pm coz mummy-o didnt wanna miss the AJL. I watched it almost every year coz i kinda like watching whats the latest in the malay music scene and also to see these ppl sing live!

Mawi won best performance, i guess he is undeniably still the crowd. And you have to agree the song M.Nasir did is good. Kudos to Jac and Aubrey for winning for Gemilang. As for Hazami, i guess what would people say if a vocal coach did not win kan.. he must have did his best.. :)
Eh on the other hand kan, if you think about it, it was almost like AF vs Idol, ek?? Hehe

Pink Princess Party

1st Birthday theme: Pink Princess Party

Date: 07012006 (we had to have the party a week after her birthday)

Venue: Nena's house

We had almost everything in pink!! Balloons, cakes, tiaras (for partyhats), drinks (daddy-o mixed a superlicious bandong drink), her party dress, shoes well just about everything that i had managed to grab hold of, i had chosen pink! Even the plastic cups..hehe

I had help too of coz. I drilled my lill sister, TiBi to help me with the games and of coz TiTi for the decor and other stuffs. Oh and also wegra, who came early to help me when i was in my kelamkabutness. Even my MiL was there early to help. My bro even had his fren, who by the way, came in pink! also to help around. Yes, we were not short of helping hands, i have to say.. :) Even unclerizal was there the whole day to help.. hehe

The most important thing is that Arina had fun and the guests had good fun & food too (well i hope so). Nena (my mum) cooked especially for her granddaughter's party. We had the most delicious laksa johor. Our family favourite. So thank you Nena for the lovely dishes.

Arina also had the most fun with her lovely prezzies. She had fun opening up the presents and you should have seen the surprised and happy faces that she did.

Arina was in such good mood even until midnight i think. Oh, she actually fell asleep at almost midnight. I was surprised that she had all that energy. It must be the excitement of it all. Plus she did manage to fit in her little nap (which did her good) just before the party. ;)

All in all we had such fun too. So thank you to those who had come and make the day a very memorable one for my dear little angel!

My little angel is walking!

Hehe..Did i tell you that my little angel is now walking? hehe.. Tho wobbly and sometimes it looks like she's doin the balancing act minus the stick. Its just so cool to watch her confidently got up on her two feet and balanced herself properly first before taking the first step. Her attempts sometimes backfire so we adults would still need to be around all the time. Her walking style is with her two hands high in the air..(for more balance me think.. :) )

Its just amazing to see how she manage to grasp the art of walking.

Just two weeks ago, she would stand on her two feet but sort of refuse to take the first step on her own, except when we offer our hand, will she excitedly start walking or sometimes run! Yes, her own version of running of course.. hehee

Sometimes she does wanna run instead of walking. You can see how impatient she is when wanting to walk.

I have to say i am very proud of my little angel's achievement.

Five day of bumming at home makes me now very the slow to want to start the pace of getting into work!!
